Easter
Easter was a breath of fresh air. Both because of the nice weather and because of the reminder of what is most important. I stayed the night at my family’s house and woke up to birds chirping and the sun shining. A beautiful start to a beautiful day.
As the family woke they gathered around the bed with scriptures handy that we all turned to Luke 23 and Luke 24 in the New Testament. As we read these scriptures we were reminded of our Saviors resurrection. A few things were learned as we read.
1) That just as surely as Jesus Christ died and was buried, He lived again.
2) Christ showed Himself as a living resurrected being to his disciples.
3) Reason and the Spirit confirms that He lives today the same glorious resurrected being.
Easter is a reminder that Christ broke the chains of death so that death has no sting and the grave has no victory! It is a reminder of our Heavenly Father’s eternal plan, which is to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man.
As we join in God’s plan and love as the Savior loved our lives will be filled with the Spirit of God, and we will be fulfilled and accomplish so many things. In short, we will be happy!
